Meet Bug. Bug, short for Lovebug, as named by his foster mom, was adopted as a puppy and is sadly looking for a new home because his family decided that they didn’t have time for a puppy. He is 8 months old and still a puppy. At about 40 pounds, he is a perfect medium size dog. He loves people but is high energy. He loves his toys and will share with everyone. He has learned how to stay in an outside dog run and will be grudgingly stay inside in a kennel but tends to whine if he sees people and can’t be with them. He’s really potty trained and hasn’t had a single accident inside or in his crate. He wants to be friends with every dog he sees but will chase cats as part of a game he’s not malicious. When he touches them with his nose he wonders why they’re not chasing him back. He loves car rides and will settle down in the car quickly. Bug was hit by a car and had a broken leg that was repaired. Back in our care, he recently had the pins in his leg removed. He does have some stiffness in his injured leg, but it doesn’t bother him or slow him down. If interested in making Bug a part of your family, please complete an online application on LSAR.org.
